Introduction

Abstract

This is an introduction to a special issue of the journal 'Przegląd Humanistyczny', which is entirely dedicated to the work of Zbigniew Herbert. The publication aims to document and preserve a trace of the university scientific and cultural event "Zbigniew Herbert. A Mosaic for a New Century", organized in March 2025. The authors introduce the reader to a literary scholarship dialogue with the poet's works, expressing hope that the collected articles will become an inspiration for the audience to pursue further readings and ask new questions.
